Watercolour.  Image size: 48.6cm x 36.8cm.

The location is Leeds City Centre in Springtime and this cosmopolitan city is alive with the young walking perhaps parading in search of admiration.

With this in mind I could not resist making this image and painting the reflection as though it was melting - disrupted by the young people as they passed by.

This is one of three paintings encorporating reflections and figures and was selected and exhibited in the 'Leeds Open'.

I used photographic references for all these reflection paintings, but not slavishly, only as a way to capture the intrinsic beauty of people just being themselves.

These three paintings and 'He's Cool' are painted in watercolours on paper and are for sale.
