A fine art watercolour of a white horse in Auvers by Susan Ridyard

Susan discovered this beautiful subject when visiting Auvers with John. They had looked around the village and found Dr. Gachet's house - and the Church Vincent had painted so fluidly and with such colour, had 'done' the very good impressionists display in the nearby Chateaux and were making their way up the lane toward the cemetery - past the Wheatfield with crows that Van Goch painted - against the light -and there it was - The Horse - looking like a player resting between scenes in a fairytale.
Susan has made the painting using a mixture of watercolour and body colour working from three separate photographs.
